November 21, 2007 Morning/Afternoon Editions

A Peek at the Past Few Weeks
Due to the busy schedule these past few weeks, this is a combined newsletter for the month of November.
Centers: a farm stamping/counting book, scavenger hunt for fall leaves, cleaning toys in the sensory table, listening center stories included “Inside a Barn in the Country” and “I went walking” and dot painting pictures. In the block center: barns with farm animals and props, lots of coloring activities, a thankful book, and kitchen were a few of the centers these past few weeks.
Vocabulary words: sheep, chicken, cow, horse, cat, dog, mouse, roster, chick, pig, and thankful.
Physical Therapy Group
Please have your child wear sneakers and pants (no dresses) on Wednesdays.
The students pretended to be trees and others the wind. The trees had colored scarves (leaves), which the wind blew off of them. Everyone got a chance being a tree and the wind, and enjoyed this creative activity.
Important Notices

* Reminder: your child needs to be symptom-free for 24 hours before returning to school after an illness, including vomiting and diarrhea.
*Reminder: Please call or email if your child is going to be absent.

* No school for the AM class on November 22, 23.
*No school for the PM class on Nov 21, 22, 23.

*Book orders are due November 29th.
