A Peek at the Week

This week we talked about gardening/planting. We learned about the steps to growing a plant from a seed, and did experiments with seeds in a plastic bag with a paper towel. We also looked at the parts of a carrot and talked about how some foods grow under the ground and some grow above ground. We put the carrots in water and we will watch to see what happens to them. We also practiced positional/place words using porcupine balls or frogs. We put them on our head, under our leg, beside us, above our hand, below our hand, in front, behind, among others.
